Workshop DIGITAL RECONFIGURATIONS, University of Padova, June 3-4, 2025

PaSTIS at the University of Padova organizes the  workshop Digital Reconfigurations: Exploring the interplay between data, digital infrastructures and social processes, which will take place on June 3rd and 4th 2025, at University of Padova.

The workshop will bring together perspectives from Science and Technology Studies (STS), infrastructure studies, digital governance, and communication research to explore how digital infrastructures and data practices are reshaping contemporary social, political, and cultural dynamics.

Keynote talks will be delivered by Francesca Musiani (CNRS – Centre Internet et Société, Paris) with a presentation titled “From Russian Technologists to Federated Architectures: STS Approaches to Internet Governance Studies” and Alessandro Delfanti (University of Toronto) with a contribution on “The Algorithmic Capture of Work at Amazon and Beyond“. The two keynote speeches will open two days of contributions from scholars across Italy and Europe.
